Sourcing

A factual claim about an examination comes from the authority that conducts it. Not from another education site, not from a news report of what the authority said, and not from a press summary — from the notice itself.

Where we cannot find such a document, we publish nothing for that field. An empty row means we have not confirmed it. It never means the answer is no.

Human review is not optional

Dates, deadlines, fees, eligibility rules and results are approved by a person before publication. No automated process may publish one, however confident it is, and the reviewer sees the extracted value alongside the exact line it came from before deciding.

The reviewer’s name is recorded against the value. A published fact on this site is something somebody stood behind.

Uncertainty is labelled, not smoothed

A confident-sounding wrong answer is worse than a hedged right one. Where a value is projected, provisional or drawn from a completed cycle, it says so on the page. Where a source is ambiguous — a date that could be read two ways, a schedule spanning several days — the ambiguity is surfaced rather than resolved by preference.

On AI-generated content

Machine assistance is used for the mechanical parts: reading documents, extracting candidate values, and drafting explanatory copy like this page. It is not used to decide what is true.

No factual value reaches a page because a model produced it. Every one is traced to a document and approved by a person. We do not generate plausible-sounding exam information, and we do not publish text that asserts facts no source supports.

Independence

ExamSource is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any examination authority, board, university or coaching institution. Where that changes — through advertising, sponsorship or partnership — it will be disclosed on the page it affects, not in a footer.

Corrections

Errors are fixed on the record rather than quietly edited away: a superseded value keeps its history and the date it stopped being current. If you find one, report it.
