Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks

Overview

IBPS RRB recruits Office Assistants and Officers in Scale I, II and III to India's Regional Rural Banks, run as a separate process from the IBPS examinations for public-sector banks because RRBs recruit against their own vacancies and, for some posts, give weight to a candidate's knowledge of the local language. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts a Preliminary examination (waived for Scale II and III officers in some cycles), a Main examination, and an interview for officer posts.
