Common Recruitment Process for Specialist Officers
Overview
IBPS SO recruits Specialist Officers — IT, agriculture, law, HR, marketing and other professional streams distinct from the general banking cadre — to the public-sector banks that participate in the common recruitment process. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts a Preliminary examination, a Main examination specific to the chosen stream, and an interview conducted by the participating banks.
