What the notice says
Junior Engineer Examination, 2026
F.No HQ-C-3019/1/2026-C-3. Candidates may please refer to Para 2(13) of the Notice of Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 dated 02.09.2026 regarding the Essential Educational Qualification prescribed for the post of Scientific Assistant in the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
2. In this connection, it is hereby informed that the Essential Qualification for the post of SA in IMD at Para 2(13) of the Notice dated 02.09.2026 of the Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 shall be read as:
(1) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects from a recognised institution or university;
