1. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE)with theresponsibility of conducting theNational Common Entrance Test(NCET) 2026 for admission to the 4-YearIntegrated TeacherEducationProgramme (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/ Institutions including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and GovernmentCollegesfortheAcademicSession 2026-27.
2.The NCET -2026 was conducted on 17 and 18 April 2026 in Computer Based Test(CBT) modein 145 citiesacrossthecountryinthreeshifts.
